A concrete densifier: Is a unique formulation of an inorganic group of chemical additives. When applied to a concrete surface a sequence of exchange reactions take place. This produces an effect similar to magnetised water. Along with this other exchange reactions take place between PERAGUARD ingredients and constituents of the concrete surface simultaneously, as these penetrate through the concrete, low and hardly soluble acicular crystals of hydroxonitrates are formed. These crystals have a micro reinforcing effect, giving reinforcement to primary frame work within voids in the surface, giving a hard micro stitched dense surface on an ionic level. Hardly soluble double salts are crystallised at the same stage, the crystals are in the form of hexagonal syngonite-like stitches and packages of parallel laminate with Interstices filled with inter crystalline solutions. The density volume and strength of the entire package depends on such solutions these harden in a simaltaneous phase. This also works on older concrete as well as new concrete.

How to Use:

Precautions: Do not cure or cover the surface treated by PERAGUARD. Do not add any other chemicals or supplementary materials to PERAGUARD, except for oxide based pigments. PERAGUARD is non-hazardous, non-flammable and non-explosive for application, transportation and storage. Consult the MSDS before use.

Before Use: Remove lid. thoroughly stir the PERAGUARD liquid making sure to stir the bottom pail as chemical may settle here.stirring mixing will make the liquid change colour to a lime/light milky look.

1. Clean floor from dust and loose material vacuum is best
2. Dampen concrete floor with water and broom
3. Pour out liquid PERAGUARD into low pressure spay pump or depending on floor surface roughness a micro fibre or pour on floor with rain shower watering can & use broom to brush over surface.
4. Leave PERAGUARD to dry. This depends on concrete porosity. Usually after 4 -12 hours you can start to polish with a grinder.

Operation with PERAGUARD is similar to cement mixing and liquid spray jobs. Always wear an approved particle respirator and rubber gloves. Avoid inhalation of the dry product or direct skin and eye contact. Caustic when mixed with water. In case PERAGUARD is inhaled, swallowed or gets into contact with the skin or eyes, rinse and wash abundantly with water. Refer to the MSDS for additional health and safety information.
